Creative Workshops in Angel, London — Imperfect Art Opens Its Doors

For the past few months, I’ve been looking for a space. Not just any space — the right space.

I knew I didn’t want it to be sleek or polished. I wanted something with good light, a bit of character, even some rough edges. Somewhere that already felt like art had happened there — and could happen again.

Finding that in London, on a small business budget? Let’s just say it’s been a journey.

Then I walked into this studio at Candid Arts Trust in Angel — and I just knew. It wasn’t perfect, but it was right. A little worn-in, the kind of place where creativity feels easy. Where you don’t worry about making a mess, because people have been creative here for years.

Now the real work begins — turning this empty space into the creative home I’ve been dreaming of. Finding the right decor, the right energy, and the right balance between welcoming and quirky, cosy and chaotic (in a good way).

But this space isn’t just for me — it’s for all of us.

If you’ve ever felt like you wanted to create something but didn’t know where to start…
If you’ve ever walked past an art class and thought “that looks fun, but I’m not talented enough”…
If you’ve ever wanted a place where making things feels easy, not intimidating…

This is for you.

On March 15th, I’m opening the doors for a special Open Studio Day. It’s not a workshop — it’s a chance to:
✨ See the space before anyone else
✨ Share your ideas for what you want to see here (our Community Idea Wall will be waiting for you)
✨ Meet fellow creative Londoners over tea, coffee & pastries (obviously)

Tickets are just £3 to help me cover the snacks and supplies. You can grab yours via HERE, and I’d love to see you there — especially if you’ve ever thought: “Maybe I could be creative too.”

This isn’t just the start of Imperfect Art. It’s the start of a creative community — and I hope you’ll be part of it from day one.
